Joseph Opoku is a devoted Christian and ministry leader with a passion for prayer, discipleship, evangelism, and helping believers grow in their faith and understanding of the Kingdom of God. His ministry is characterised by a strong commitment to serving God, building people, and encouraging practical Christian living.
Introduced to the Christian faith through his mother's involvement in ministry, Joseph began serving the Lord in 1999. Over the years, he has served in various ministries within the Church, including Worship, Prayer, Bible Study, and Evangelism within the Assemblies of God. He has also served as part of the Church leadership team. In addition, Joseph served with the Assemblies of God Campus Ministry at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), Ghana.
In 2008, Joseph joined Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (CEM), where he graduated from the School of Ministry and subsequently served in various ministry capacities.
Professionally, Joseph is a Telecommunications Engineer. He holds two master's degrees: an MSc in Telecommunications from the University of Westminster and an MSc in International Business from Hertfordshire Business School. He also holds a Certificate in Church Planting from the Missions Training Centre, Christ's Oasis Ministries, Accra.
With a unique blend of ministry, professional, and academic experience, Joseph is passionate about demonstrating and advancing the Kingdom of God through his career, ministry, and everyday life.
Joseph is happily married to Rev. Mrs. Yaa Afriyie Opoku, who actively supports and partners with him in his walk and service to God. Together, they are blessed with three children.
