The Work & Ministry Of Angels

I hope we are all well and keeping safe.

And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee – Luke 1:26

Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation? – Hebrews 1:14 (AMP)

Who or what are angels someone may ask? The noun ‘angel’ comes from the Greek word aggelos/angelos, which means messenger. Angels are celestial beings acting as messengers between God and man

Because angels are ministering spirits/servants, they play a strategic role in the life of the Believer.       These are some (list not exhaustive) of the amazing work and ministry of angels.

1. They minister to the physical needs of God’s people (1 Kings 19:5-8, Matthew 4:11 & Luke 22:43).

1. They are charged to protect the saints from their enemies (Numbers 20:16, Psalm 91:11-14, & Matthew 26:53).
2. They deliver the saints from peril and danger (Daniel 6:22, Psalm 34:7b & Acts 12:8-11).
3. They reveal God’s purposes to the saints (Luke 1:11-19 & Revelation 19:11-16).
4. They give direction (what to do) to the saints (Exodus 23:20, Matthew 1:20 & Acts 10:3-6)
5. They form a permanent fence/hedge round about the saints (Psalm 34:7a)
6. They help in answering the prayer of the saints (Daniel 9: 20-27, Daniel 10:12,13 & Acts 12:1-11)
7. They enforce the covenant right of the saints (Psalm 103:20,21)
8. They come to encourage the saints in times of distress; when they are discouraged (Judges 6:11,12 & Acts 27:23-25)
9. They are at the service of the saints (Hebrews 1:14)

I speak prophetically over your life that this month, may you continuously experience angelic visitations, angelic assistance and angelic interventions. Say AMEN.

 Remember, tough times never last, but in Christ Jesus, tough people like you do.

Salvation Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner and the wages of sin is death. You sent your Son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. I ask Jesus to come into my heart and make me a brand new person. I know my sins are now all forgiven past, present and future. Thank you that I have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light and of your dear Son Jesus Christ Thank you Lord Jesus for saving me and assuring my entrance into heaven. Amen.
